Why monthly bookkeeping matters
When your books are closed and reconciled every month, the numbers are real on any given day: what came in, what went out and what you actually made. Books stitched together in the spring can only tell you what already happened, when it is too late to act on it.
Clean books also make everything else easier, from tax planning and lender requests to knowing whether you can afford your next hire. Our guide to clean books explains the monthly close and the reports worth reading.
Behind on your books?
If your bookkeeping has fallen behind, we start with a one-time catch-up, scoped to your file. Prior-year cleanup is quoted per year. From there, you move onto a steady monthly rhythm.
How we work
Onboarding starts with a kickoff and secure access in week one, followed by cleanup and your first monthly close in weeks two to four. Our standard is simple: nothing is filed until it has been prepared, independently reviewed and signed off by a partner.
Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations are included in every level of Real Deal Monthly, our flat-fee membership.
